以高铁潍坊北站为中心，定位于打造“京沪沿线新热土、山东半岛新高地、潍坊城市新空间”，启动20平方公里的规划开发，5.3平方公里核心区正在加快建设。济青、潍莱、京沪、环渤海等高铁将在此互联成网，成为北连京津冀、南接长三角、东邻青烟威、西接省会济南的铁路“米字路口”。重点导入高铁物流、现代商贸、教育培训、文化旅游、科研办公等高端产业，着力打造集交通枢纽、高铁物流、商务办公、商业金融、文化创意及生态居住于一体的高铁经济辐射圈。

High-speed Rail New Area, centering on Weifang North Station of Jinan-Qingdao High-speed Rail, is positioned to build "new hot soil along Beijing-Shanghai Railway, new highland of Shandong Peninsula, and new urban space of Weifang City". A planned area of 20 square kilometers is activated and core area of 5.3 square kilometers is under construction. High-speed Rails such as Jinan-Qingdao, Weifang-Laixi, Beijing-Shanghai and Bohai Rim interchange here and the area will become an intersection to link Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, Yangtze River Delta, Qingdao-Yantai-Weihai and Jinan. Focus on the introduction of high-speed railway logistics, modern commerce, education and training, cultural tourism, scientific research office and other high-end industries, and strive to build a high-speed railway economic radiation circle of transport hub, high-speed rail logistics, business office, commercial finance, cultural creativity and ecological living.
